Financial Aid

Forms for the 2017-2018 School Year

Deadline for ALL families, including incoming students of the Class of 2021, is November 15, 2016.

FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment will be conducting the financial need analysis for Padua Franciscan High School for the upcoming 2017-2018 school year.  Financial Aid is made possible with funds generated by the Padua Franciscan High School Endowment Trust and Alumni Association. To be eligible for consideration, a family must complete the FACTS Online Grant & Aid Assessment Application for the 2017-2018 school year. For more information see the FACTS FAQ Page.  Once an online application has been completed, the following information will need to be sent to FACTS to complete the application process:

  • Copies of your most recent Federal tax forms including all supporting tax schedules.
  • Copies of your most recent W-2 forms for both you and your spouse.
  • Copies of supporting documentation for Social Security Income, Welfare, Child Support, Food Stamps, Workers’ Compensation, and TANF.

All supporting documentation can be uploaded in pdf format online.

Documentation can also be faxed to 866-315-9264 or mailed to the address below.  Please be sure to include the applicant ID on all faxed or mailed correspondence.

Families should expect to hear from Padua Franciscan High School about their award notification:
  • Class of 2021 and transfer students – early January 2017
  • Present families – Mid-March 2017


Cleveland Scholarship Program

The Cleveland Scholarship is available for students who reside in the City of Cleveland.

If you live in the City of Cleveland and do not currently receive the voucher we encourage you to apply by completing the Voucher Request form and submitting it to: Padua Franciscan High School (Attn: Kammy Shuman) 6740 State Road Parma, Ohio 44134, along with a current utility bill and a copy of your student’s birth certificate.

If you currently receive a voucher you must complete the Voucher Renewal form and submit it to: Padua Franciscan High School (Attn: Kammy Shuman) 6740 State Road Parma, Ohio 44134, along with a current utility bill and a copy of your student’s birth certificate.

If you believe your family meets the low income guidelines you will need to complete the Voucher Income Verification form and mail it directly to: The Ohio Department of Education Cleveland Scholarship Program 25 South Front Street, MS 309 Columbus, Ohio  43215.

EdChoice Scholarship Program

The Education Choice Scholarship (EdChoice) provides students from underperforming public schools the opportunity to attend private school with a state-funded scholarship of $6,000.  Click here for more information, including access to the application.

Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship Program

This scholarship provides financial assistance to students that have an Individualized Education Program (IEP) from their district of residence.  The scholarship amount is based on the disability identified on the student’s IEP.  Click here for more information, including access to the application. 

Diocesan Tuition Assistance

Diocesan Tuition Assistance (DTA) consists of a pool of money from various funding sources of the Diocese of Cleveland. To apply for DTA, a family must complete the Smart Aid application by March 1, 2017. Each family will be evaluated and grants awarded based upon financial need as it relates to the family’s obligations. The dollar values of the grants vary according to need.
