Athletic Department
For many students, sports are a way to gain skills and confidence, a place to set personal goals and to learn to work as a team. Our athletic program at Padua helps students grow physically, mentally, and spiritually. Our programs stress sportsmanship, integrity, and ethics and are designed to develop responsibility, self-confidence, direction, and a spirit of teamwork and sacrifice.
Padua Franciscan is a member of the North Coast League (NCL) and member of the OHSAA. Our sports program offers twenty interscholastic sports and a tradition of teams that work and play hard. Padua teams have won numerous league and district championships since the school’s inception, as well as the NCL All Sports Trophy (1999-2000, 2000-2001, 2001-2002, 2002-2003, 2003-2004, 2004-2005, 2005-2006) .
