On the court, the Bruins have a competitive tradition that keeps the excitement alive. The Bruins have played successfully in District Tournaments. The Bruins have won District Championships twice (1970, 2005), District Runner-ups three times (1977, 1980, 2006). The Bruins have won the North Coast League title once (1990).
Bruins Begin OHSAA Tournament on Feb. 20th
Padua Franciscan H.S. will begin play in the OHSAA Sectional Tournament on Feb. 20th versus Keystone H.S. at Westlake H.S. at 8:00 p.m. Presale Tickets are availalble in the Atheltic Office. Below is the 2008 OHSAA Torurnament Bracket.

Boys' Hoopsters Down Trinity
The Bruins basketball team complied a 27-22 halftime lead and never looked back defeating Trinity H.S., 61-49. Senior captain Matt Stuczynski led all scorers with 18 points. Junior Tim Stakolich scored 11 points to help the Bruins improve to 2-12 overall. The contest was taped by Classic Sports Television Productions and can be seen on television on Sunday, January 27th at 6:30 p.m. on Cox Communications channel 45/49. The contest will also be available on demand during the week of Jan. 28th. The Bruins will host NDCL on Tuesday, January 29th and Lake Catholic on Feb. 1st.
