The Puck Stops Here In the hands of Bruin athletes, the stick and puck have resulted in numerous wins for this junior varsity, and varsity sport. The hockey team has been state runners-up, state semi-finalists , NCL champs, and state champions. The Padua Hockey team has won the State Championship three times (1988, 1989, 2006). The Bruins were State Runner-Up four times (1991, 2000, 2001, 2007), State Semifinalists three times (1996, 1997, 1998), District Champions eleven times (1983, 1988, 1989, 1991, 1996, 1997, 1998, 2000, 2001, 2006, 2007), District Runner-Up three times (1979, 2003, 2005). The Bruins have captured six  NCL Crowns (2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2006, 2007).

Bruins Adance To Baron Cup Final-Feb. 10, 2008
The Padua Bruins advanced to the Baron Cup Finals with a 5-2 victory over St. Ignatius on Feb. 9th at Brooklyn Ice Rink. The Bruins lost in the Baron Cup Finals, 6-0 to St. Edward on Feb. 10th. The Bruins will now prepare for the OHSAA playoffs which start on Feb. 18th vs. Parma H.S. Below is the OHSAA Ice Hockey Tournament Bracket.

Four Bruins Named ALL-GCHSHL Team-Feb.10, 2008
PFHS had four Bruin skaters received accolades from the Greater Cleveland High School Hockey League. Seniors Joe Sposit and Nick Allega were each named First Team Red Division All-Stars as well as First Team Red North Division All-Stars. Senior goaltender Nick Martini and senior defensemen Jim Rajecki were named Second Team Red North Division All-Stars.  
 
Bruin Skaters Tie For First Place Lead In Red North-Jan.25, 2008
The Bruins varsity ice hockey team tied for the lead in the Red North Division of the GCHSHL defeating St. Ignatius on friday, Jan. 25th, 6-0. The Bruins were led Seniors Joe Sposit and Pat Shevchuk who each scored two goals. Senior J.J. Marino and freshman Nick Placko rounded out the scoring for PFHS (14-9-1 overall, 7-2 Red North). Senior goaltender Nick Martini stopped 32 shots for the Bruins who have won two straight games. The Bruins wrap up the regular season on Friday, February 1st versus University School at Iceland.
