Purpose:
The Padua Boosters Organization is dedicated to the support and promotion of all Padua sports programs by coordinating volunteer efforts and organizing fund raising activities to benefit our athletes.
Objectives:
- To promote the development of a healthy, competitive spirit in the students, athletes, and followers of the Padua athletic program
- To continually strive for the improvement of the overall quality and effectiveness of the athletic program
- To sponsor close cooperation between athletes, coaches, administration, and parents
- To provide equal services and financial support to all athletes, regardless of gender
- To accomplish all of the above in full cooperation with all other Padua organizations and with the best interests of the overall Padua community at heart
- Attend Booster meetings
- Volunteer at sports events
- Participate on a committee
- Attend games to cheer on athletes
Responsible for the set up and publication of the seasonal sports program:
- Business advertisement
- Patron ads
- Senior profiles
- Set up/Printing
- Athlete photo buttons for parents
Fundraising Committee:
Responsible for coordinating the fund raising activity, which include:
- Night at the Races
- Fall Fund Raiser
Publicity Committee
Responsible for publicizing Athletic Booster activities:
- Publication of monthly Bruin Beat and quarterly Paduan Athletic Booster articles
- External communications
- Coordinate with corresponding secretary
Parent Team Representative
Appointed by the team coach, the parent team representative acts as the liaison between the coach, team, parents, and Boosters Association:
- Provide team reports at Booster meetings
- Organize CYO night
- Parents night organization
- Coordinating parent volunteers to work sports’ gate/door collecting game tickets
- Help coordinate team sports banquet
- Assisting the coach in whatever they feel is necessary
