Northeast Ohio Parent Magazine featured some local “Teachers Going the Extra Mile” in May, in honor of Teacher Appreciation Week. Our own Tim Giulivo was highlighted on page 25. Click here to read the article.
Mr. Tim Giulivo has been a blessing to Padua Franciscan High School for 33 years. He served as principal for 11 years, but shines most while he’s in the classroom teaching Advanced Placement/Honors U.S. Government & Politics, American Government and World Cultures I & II.
Seniors say, there is no one else quite like him. “He is by far the best public speaker I’ve ever met. His energy can light up a room and his sense of humor can always lift me up,” said Lauren Stepanski ’16.
“He has a way of captivating the attention of every single student in class. He pushes me to want to achieve excellence in and outside of the classroom,” said Kelly Zagore ’16.
Outside of class, Mr. Giulivo gives his all as Senior Class Moderator and Music Ministry Co-Director. “I’ve never seen him do something less than 100 percent,” said Sara Thomas ’16.
The Class of 2015 selected him as the recipient of the St. Anthony Award for Teaching Excellence. He was chosen for fostering intellectual rigor and academic excellence, while modeling the values of character, service and leadership to students. He continues to have a lasting impact on the growth of our youth, not only as scholars, but as human beings.
