St. Francis School Partnership
Padua students get together with children at St. Francis Elementary School through the Church in the City program – tutoring for older kids and play time with the younger kids.
Teen Institute, known as T.I., offers activities for Padua students without the stress of alcohol and other drugs. They plan such events as bowling outings, parties, and trips to places like Dover Lake Park and ice skating. Teen Institute is made up of over 100 diverse Padua students who have one thing in common…they are committed to having fun, and they don’t believe in the need for substances to accomplish this task. This group frequently makes trips to grade schools where they peer-teach eighth graders via skits and energizers. Their main objective is to discuss with the kids issues surrounding drugs, alcohol, and high school pressures. Mrs. Giulivo and Mr. Sabo are the moderators.
