Students and faculty members spent two weeks sightseeing in Japan this summer. Several healthcare visits were incorporated into the trip, because MedTrack Director Laurie Grabowski ’89 and four MedTrack students were participants.
MedTrack Director Laurie Grabowski ’89 and four MedTrack students were at a private birthing facility and at the Red Cross Hospital & Atomic-Bomb Survivors Hospital, both located in Hiroshima. Students Ashlynn Uzl ’18, Crystal Wolverton ’18, Gillian Castillo ’19, and William Giulivo ’20 came away with insights into how another country manages its healthcare system.
