Ulyana Horodyskyj ’03, a scientist and alpinist, was featured as one of ‘The World’s Most Adventurous Women 2019’ in the January issue of Men’s Journal.
The 32-year-old heads to some of the most extreme places on the planet, including the icefields of Mount Everest, the fjords of Baffin Island and the glaciers atop Kilimanjaro. It’s those places where the effects of a changing planet are often most easily observed.
“For me, science and adventure go hand-in-hand,” Horodyskyj says.
