We began the season of Lent by celebrating Ash Wednesday Mass as a community on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 with Fr. Johnpaul Cafiero, ofm, and Dcn. Matt Harley.
Our Liturgy started by reciting The Peace Prayer of St. Francis of Assisi.
In his homily, Dcn. Matt encouraged students to do three things:
- Pray for peace every day.
- Do something that brings you closer to Jesus.
- Fast from noise in your life.
We ended our celebration with a prayerful message in Ukrainian from one of our Ukrainian-American students.
