Padua’s Athletic Department and Athletic Director Kevin Leigh ’89 have been awarded the prestigious Ohio Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association’s Bruce Brown Award of Excellence. It is the highest award an athletic administrator can achieve in the State of Ohio. The focus of the award is to recognize consistent efforts on the part of Ohio interscholastic athletic departments that demonstrate best practice in the endorsement and promotion of school-based athletic programming. There are only 27 schools in the state who have achieved this recognition.
Mr. Leigh and the other recipients were celebrated at an awards luncheon during the OIAAA Conference in Columbus, Ohio on Monday, November 13, 2023. “I’m proud to work with an amazing staff which values education-based athletics. We have great people who continually look to improve the experience for our student-athletes,” stated Leigh.
