The Class of 2019’s Commencement was held on Friday, May 31, 2019 at Holy Family Church.
Commencement Speaker Patrick Perotti ’73 encouraged students to make good decisions, embrace change and enjoy life.
Valedictorian Ava Barone ’19 told her classmates to be brave and walk into the future with confidence. “We will always know that we are never alone and always a Bruin, but now it’s our time to be brave and step out of those nice new lobby doors to the future, knowing that we’re always welcome back home. We all know that we are going into a future with its share of challenges, but confidently knowing that we have the tools not only to face those challenges but to make positive changes in our world is what truly defines the class of 2019,” said Barone.
