Padua provides the opportunity for area elementary students to develop their gifts and talents in our Elementary Instrumental Music Program. Over 250 students from Incarnate Word Academy, St. Albert the Great, St. Ambrose, St. Anthony of Padua, St. Charles and St. Columbkille performed in our Spring Concert on Monday, May 21, 2018.

About the Elementary Band Program

Padua Franciscan High School has been providing instrumental instruction to area elementary schools for decades. The partnerships between Padua and our partner schools initially began under the direction of Mr. Wayne Miller (who passed away in 2013) at St. Charles Borromeo. In 2017, we expanded the program to include instruction for band and orchestra through the talents of three music teachers. Mrs. Andrea (Fatica) Mikolajczyk ‘02 and Mrs. Sara Marganski direct the band programs at St. Anthony of Padua, St. Albert the Great, St. Charles Borromeo, St. Columbkille, St. Ambrose and Incarnate Word Academy. Mrs. Carrie (Griffiths) Woodie ’94 directs the orchestra programs at Incarnate Word Academy, St. Albert the Great, St. Columbkille and St. Ambrose. Students from these schools will join in several concerts hosted at Padua Franciscan throughout the year.
