Padua graduates realize now more than ever – they have younger peers who care about their actions.
Grade school students from St. Anthony of Padua wrote letters encouraging graduating seniors to be safe and make good choices after graduation and all summer long.
One touching letter read was written in Ukrainian by a Ukrainian student and was delivered to a Ukrainian graduate.
Teachers and administrators at St. Anthony of Padua and Padua Franciscan High School organized the special letter project. This has been a long-standing tradition with the partner schools. Every year the letters are very impactful on Padua’s seniors. They enjoy reading them and meeting young students who look up to them. It makes students think twice before driving under the influence.
