MedTrack Externship Winners 2019

September 17th, 2019 | News, News 2019

Padua MedTrack students are given the unique opportunity to interact with healthcare professionals in a real world healthcare setting. During the summer between their sophomore and junior year, students complete MedTrack Externships, which involve spending 40 hours of clinical observation in the healthcare field of their choice. They compete for prizes for the various assignments.

MedTrack juniors completed their Externship experience on Sunday, September 15, 2019 with a poster fair and presentations by the “Top 3” speakers. They explored careers from orthopedic surgery to cancer research, pediatric oncology to physical therapy, interventional radiology to emergency medicine, and everything in between.
