Padua Seeking Host Families

March 1st, 2022 | News, News 2022

This school year we expanded Padua’s tradition of educating students from around the world by adding our first student from Santiago, Chile.

We now have three prospective students coming for the first semester beginning in August 2022.  Our Chilean students are exchange students, meaning they are here solely for an American educational experience. These students will be here only for the first semester and leave by Christmas.  We have three young men looking to come for August 2022-December 2022. (One of the young men will come for only a quarter and not a full semester.)

Padua is searching for host families for this coming August through December 2022:

Host families join us in the mission to support advancement of global diversity in our school while simultaneously sharing faith.

Host families play a vital role in the life of an international student by providing a safe and loving home to these brave students.

Hosting also provides you the opportunity to open your heart, share your family and faith, and expand your worldview as you experience first-hand about another culture.

Host families are asked to provide the following:

  • Caring family & living environment
  • 3 meals a day
  • Bed
  • Opportunities for American cultural experiences
  • Opportunities to participate in the Padua community

If you have any questions please feel free to contact Director of International & Foreign Exchange Program Mr. Michael Polevacik via email at mpolevacik@paduafranciscan.com or 440-845-2444 x163.
