An Eagle Scout ranking is not an easy thing to achieve in Boy Scouts. Each scout does a project to earn his final Eagle Scout badge. Senior Nick Prusovic ’20 worked with his parish pastor, Fr. Mark Peyton, of St. Francis de Sales Church in Parma. Together, they decided on adding a statue of St. Teresa of Calcutta in front of the church entrance. Nick held a pancake breakfast, which raised about $1,200 to fund the project. He also coordinated a work crew and purchased materials for the statue installation. You can now see the statue outside the church’s State Road entrance. Nick became an Eagle Scout on May 14, 2019.
