The winner of the St. Anthony Award for Teaching Excellence for 2019 is Theology and Social Studies teacher Mrs. Joan Giulivo. She is now in her 33rd year of teaching at Padua.

Each year the St. Bonaventure Chapter of National Honor Society presents the St. Anthony Award for Teaching Excellence. The St. Anthony Award is given annually to the Padua teacher who, in the eyes of the departing senior National Honor Society class, has best fostered intellectual rigor and academic excellence, while also modeling the values of character, service, and leadership to students. The teacher shall have made a lasting impact to the growth of young people not only as scholars, but as human beings.
