Nearly 700 alumni, family and friends came back to Padua for Homecoming on Friday, September 24, 2021. The campus was filled with energy and lots of Padua pride as our alumni reconnected with former classmates, friends, and faculty. Attendees received complimentary Padua sunglasses and enjoyed fare from two food trucks.
Prior to kickoff, we celebrated Bruce (Buzz) Heinrich ’67 for 50 years of coaching Padua football and Joe Shuman who recently retired after 30 years of announcing Padua football games and wrestling matches. The Bruins beat the Lake Catholic Cougars 35-7.
