Esteemed guests consisting of current Friar Club members, leadership donors in the President’s Club, alumni, and other valued members of the Padua community turned out to celebrate the newest inductees of the Friar Club at the annual President’s Reception held on September 12. Guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres and live music by Padua’s Jazz Band under the direction of Mark Wozniak ’97.
Tony Shuman ’91, vice president of advancement, began the presentation portion of the evening, as he and President Dave Stec ’86 inducted the newest members of the Friar Club:

Senior Class President Emily-Han Truong ’25 reflected on her time at Padua and how it has shaped her into the person she is today and prepared her for college and her future career as a pediatric oncologist. Principal Bob DiRocco discussed the state of the school. Friar Johnpaul Cafiero, OFM ended the night with a blessing.
