Congrats to seniors Kylie Kirkpatrick ’21, Anthony Shuman ’21 and Jay Skrab ’21 for winning the RITE CoolTech Challenge. This is the third consecutive year that Padua’s team took first place. The event was virtual this year and took place via Zoom, due to COVID-19 restrictions. The trio won the Design & Build portion of the competition by building an app called Tudr. They envisioned the platform would be a place where students could go to get assistance with their school work, from either fellow students or experts in a particular field. Click here to watch a video of the app. The team won a $1,500 prize. MyTrack computer science teacher Mr. Rich Kirkpatrick guided the team’s efforts. Padua had one additional group participate in the online competition — freshmen Marya Keryacos ’24 and Pranjal Krashyap ’24.
