Sophomore Katie Sutton ’19 was this year’s winner of the Parma Rotary Club Speech Contest.  Sutton presented a compelling speech about the benefit of understanding and accepting mental illness in today’s society. This is the 9th year in a row that a Padua student has earned this distinction.

Sutton advanced to the regional competition and took 3rd place. Regionals featured winners from 37 clubs in Northeast Ohio. We are especially proud of Katie, who placed among a majority of high school seniors. She won $750 for her speech.
