Padua Receives Parma’s Outstanding Citizen Award

Padua Franciscan High School received the City of Parma’s Outstanding Citizen Award once again in January 2017.

Our Bruins gave back to the community by raking and bagging leaves at more than 40 homes of Parma residents who are elderly or have disabilities on Sunday, November 6, 2017.

In recognition of this service, Parma Mayor Tim DeGeeter and Councilman Allan Divis (the father of four Padua alumni) presented a plaque to Padua teacher Chris Zgrabik, who oversaw the service project, at the City Council Meeting on December 4, 2017.

All 800 of our students are committed to serving the community, following the example of our patron, St. Francis of Assisi. At Padua, students learn that actions are a reflection of faith. Last year, our students collectively completed over 6,000 hours of service.
