Padua Franciscan uses MyPad, an admissions portal for 8th graders. Students who are interested in taking the Placement Test at Padua will need to set up a MyPad account (unless you already have one). Once your Inquiry Form has been processed, you will receive an email with a username to log into MyPad. When you log into MyPad, select first time logging in and then set a password.
Registration for the HSPT (High School Placement Test) at Padua is required through MyPad in the Admissions Progress tab. Due to space limitations, we may not be able to accommodate walk-ins.
Parent information sessions will be held during the first 3 tests, from 9:00 a.m. – 10:15 a.m.
The Placement Test fee is $20, which is non-refundable. Please arrive for the test at the Padua Main Entrance no later than 8:45 a.m. Bring two #2 pencils. No calculator is necessary. Once you register, you will receive an email reminder a few days before the test with additional details.
Placement Test Dates Fall 2024
Registration for the Placement Test will open in August 2024.
Sign up for one of the first three dates, and you’ll be eligible to earn a $1,000-$7,000 renewable Placement Test scholarship if you score in the 90th percentile or higher.

Registration will open in January 2025.

Practice HSPT Test
- Saturday, April 12, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
- The placement test fee is $20 and is non-refundable.
- Log into your Parent MyPad account and choose the step: “Class of 2030 Practice HSPT for 7th Graders” and click on it to register.
Summer High School Placement Test Preparation Course and Test – June 10-13, 2025
Students will benefit from an expert briefing on the study skills needed to score well on the test. As part of this preparation, each student will receive a copy of the 550 page Master the Catholic High School Entrance Exams study guide.
On the last day, students will have the opportunity to take the Padua Placement Test and count it as their “official” score for 2026 Padua enrollment. If they are not satisfied with their score, they will have an opportunity to retake the test in the fall at no additional cost.
Your experience starts on Tuesday at 9 a.m. and is completed at 12 p.m. each day. The test will be on Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Program is limited to 65 students.
The $120 (non-refundable) cost includes:
- Enrichment in Math and English
- High School Placement Test Preparation
- Free 550 page placement test study guide
- Opportunity to take HSPT (in summer and fall)
