The Bruin Benefit is Padua’s largest fundraising event of the year and all are welcome to attend. Join us for cocktails, appetizers, our Hall of Fame Induction, a gourmet dinner, live and silent auctions, student entertainment, raffles and an after party.
The proceeds raised at the Bruin Benefit are used to keep tuition affordable and maintain excellent educational programs for all of our families.

The 31st annual Bruin Benefit Celebrazione raised a record-breaking $398,892 (net) on Saturday, April 29, 2023.
We honored new Hall of Fame members James Gaydosh ’78 (Outstanding Alumnus Award), Dr. Kelly (Smith) Gibson ’00 (Outstanding Alumna Award), Joseph Hanna ’79 and Maria Ramundo (Franciscan Medal Award), and Ray and Eleanor Smiley (Franciscan Medal Award). Each honoree spoke about his or her love for Padua and unending loyalty to the school. Click here to watch their speeches.
President David Stec ’86 and Vice President of Advancement Tony Shuman ’91 brought humor and passion as they led the Hall of Fame Induction, live auction and Fund-A-Bruin segments of the evening.
Senior Abby Recker ’23 shared her moving story about battling cancer and her gratitude for Padua’s supportive faculty, staff and community. Generous donors helped enhance various programs, resources and opportunities, which made all the difference throughout her high school career. She will graduate from Padua with honors and is attending The Ohio State University in the fall.
