Matching Gift Program

Thank you to all the businesses and corporations who participated in the Matching Gifts Program over the years. Their gifts matched donations from our Padua donors and doubled their gift.

Matching gift programs allow you to double, and in some cases triple, your gift to Padua. Enter your employer or company name in the tool below to see if your company participates.

Recurring Giving Progam

Show your Bruin pride and join the monthly Recurring Giving Program by making a gift to Padua through preset contributions. Set up an automatic monthly gift from your checking account via electronic funds transfer or use your credit or debit card. The amount you designate will be given to Padua each month—it really adds up!

Tributes

Celebrate a significant occasion–birthday, anniversary, wedding, graduation–or the life of a loved one with a contribution to Padua. Gifts made in honor of a special person, occasion or in memory of a loved one help support all students in “holiness and learning.”

Planned Giving and Estate Planning

A gift through your will or estate is the easiest gift you can make today. Learn More.

Gift of Stock

For stocks that have increased in value (appreciated), the key to receiving tax savings is to donate the shares directly to Padua Franciscan. You receive a double tax benefit by avoiding capital gains on the profit you’ve gained, and receiving a full tax deduction for the fair market value of your gift.

For stocks that have lost value (depreciated) the key is to sell them first and then give the cash proceeds to Padua. You benefit in two ways – you can take both the loss deduction and the charitable deduction.
