Part-Time Bus Driver

Job Title:
Padua Franciscan High School Bus Driver (school-year, part-time employee)
Reports to:
Employees report to the Director of Transportation Jackie Hartman.
Job Description:
Ideally, applicants would be able to work several days a week. Morning shifts (transporting students to school) typically range from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Monday through Friday. Afternoon/evening shifts (transporting students to and from field trips or after-school activities) may include several hours between 2 p.m. and 9 p.m. Monday through Friday. Some Saturday shifts will also be available, transporting students to and from Padua-sponsored events.  *Ideally, drivers would commit to working a minimum of ten hours per week or a maximum of 30 hours per week.
Benefits:
School-year part-time employees are generally not eligible for benefits, other than legally mandated benefits, such as Social Security, Workers’ Compensation Insurance and rights under the Affordable Care Act.
Tuition Subsidiary:
Padua will assume 15% of the published tuition at Padua Franciscan High School for children of school-year part-time staff members. The employee’s children remain eligible for any additional discounts and scholarships offered by Padua.
Requirements:
Current class B CDL with P & S endorsements, current ODE Pre-service certificate, pass a BCI/FBI background test, pass drug test, have no more than 4 points on BMV record, have reliable transportation, pass T-8 physical, be able to lift 75 pounds or more in an emergency situation if required, First Aid and CPR Certified, and availability to be Virtus Trained.
