Bruins Inducted into Newly Established National Art Honor Society

February 15th, 2024 | News

As of February, Padua Franciscan High School became an established chapter of the National Art Honor Society. The NAHS was established in 1978 as a means to assist student members to attain their highest potential in all forms of art, and to raise awareness of art education throughout the country. Padua is the only co-educational Catholic high school in Northeast Ohio that can boast membership in the prestigious society. Membership will provide students with access to new scholarship and exhibition opportunities at a national level. In addition to demonstrating artistic ability and a high level of academic success, students will be required to apply their skills and knowledge in the visual arts through a community engagement project of their choice. The community engagement requirement can be completed through involvement in summer camps, internships with creative industries, graphic design and mural work, as well as solo art exhibitions. Congratulations to newly inducted inaugural members from the Class of 2024:
