To celebrate the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi students were invited by Campus Ministry to participate in the St. Francis Fair, prior to classes starting. While there, students did a variety of St. Francis themed activities. The celebration continued with an all-school Mass presided over by Fr. Johnpaul Cafiero, OFM, Dcn. Matt Harley and Dcn. Tom Litwinowicz. During the homily, Dcn. Matt Harley challenged students to make a difference and to love one another. During Mass, the five Franciscan friars in attendance were recognized while the school prayed over them. Mass ended with a presentation on the Tanzania Mission Trip by senior Lance Pickel, demonstrating how Padua students can be instruments of peace.
