Joe Melendrez, a Catholic performer and inspirational speaker, was at Padua Franciscan High School on Monday, March 7, 2022. He shared his passion for Jesus with freshmen, sophomores and junior high students from Incarnate Word Academy.
He encouraged students to do three things:
- Get your mind right.
- Don’t waste your pain.
- Overcome one step at a time.
Father Bob Stec ’79, pastor of St. Ambrose Parish and founder of The FEST, was instrumental in bringing Melendrez to Padua. He will be performing at The FEST on Sunday, August 7, 2022.
