Juniors Win Tech Competition

Congrats to juniors Daniel Obloj ’21, Anthony Shuman ’21 and Jay Skrab ’21 for winning the RITE CoolTech Challenge for the second year in a row. The event was virtual this year and took place via Zoom, due to COVID-19 restrictions.  The trio won the Design & Build portion of the competition by building a service matching app for both volunteers and organizations, called Do Your Part. The team won a $1,500 prize. Computer science teacher Mr. Rich Kirkpatrick guided the team’s efforts.

Padua had three additional groups participate in the online competition, guided by business teacher Mr. Tony Shuman ’91, including the following:
