Students Start Tree Planting Project

Environmental Science and Biology students are helping to restore our native tree canopy by identifying viable seeds and planting acorns. They partnered with the Cuyahoga Soil & Water Conservation District, which has a program called Native Urban Tree Starters (NUTS).

This is one of several environmental stewardship projects happening at Padua Franciscan High School. Our patrons, Saints Francis and Clare of Assisi taught us to care for creation and love Mother Earth.
