A group of 29 highly-accomplished seniors graduated from the MedTrack program in the spring of 2018. More than 40 percent of them will be attending The Ohio State University in the fall, with several at John Carroll University, Miami University, and even two roomies at the University of Miami (in Florida).
Julia Danko ’18 was honored with the annual MedTrack Award. Olivia Bianco ’18, Emily Fagan-Zirm ‘18, Grace Harley ’18 and Ally Sabo ’18 each received recognition as finalists. Rachel Gawsyszawski ’17, the prior year’s award winner, spoke to the graduates and their families about the importance of MedTrack as she successfully transitioned to college life.
Alexis Scott ’18 was selected as one of only 12 students with a reserved seat in Ohio University’s Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine, which she will attend upon completion of her traditional four-year degree. “The professionalism componenet of MedTrack was key to helping me achieve this goal. From the practice interviewing to the resume and portfolio guidance, MedTrack allowed me to shine in the interview process. The committee was extremely impressed.”
